Lotería, the beloved concept founded by chef and restaurateur Jimmy Shaw, has officially returned to Third & Fairfax with an all-new marketplace inspired by the vibrant food culture and everyday markets of Mexico.
Lotería Marketplace offers a thoughtfully curated Mexican grocery and specialty store inspired by the neighborhood markets of Mexico City, where guests can discover artisanal pantry staples, specialty foods, authentic housewares and a rotating selection of prepared foods designed to enjoy both at the Market and at home.
Highlights include housemade tamales with rotating salsas, traditional Mexican rice, slow-braised shredded beef, chicken tinga, seasonal soups, andd carefully curated pantry essentials, from heirloom beans and dried hibiscus flowers to regional spices and specialty ingredients.
Nestled at the corner of 3rd & Fairfax, SAVTA offers a rustic-chic haven where Californian innovation meets a blend of French and Mediterranean traditions. From fresh, house-made croissants and brunch classics to wood fired pizzas, vegetable-forward dishes, each plate reflects owner Vincent Benoliel’s care and creativity. Guests can escap the hustle and bustle in a space that embraces LA’s casual charm and rich food heritage set to the backdrop of a historic icon. Embracing their success in NYC, the Los Angeles location is SAVTA’s second restaurant.
Gott’s Roadside—emphasizing locally sourced ingredients and a modern take on American classics—is making its Los Angeles debut when it opens in the Market this winter. Founded in 1999 by Joel Gott in Napa Valley, this iconic James Beard Award–winning restaurant is known for its craveable menu, wine country hospitality, and family-friendly atmosphere.
From the celebrated team behind Friends & Family in Hollywood, we are pleased to welcome Friends & Family Pizza Co. The brainchild of Pastry Chef/Baker Roxana Jullapat and Chef Daniel Mattern, Friends & Family Pizza creates their savory pies using naturally-leavened sourdough from grains milled by Grist & Toll out of Pasadena. This chef-driven eatery will be your new West Patio go-to spot.
