The 15th annual Metropolitan Fashion Week returns to the Market Plaza on Thursday, October 1st.  This year's Opening Night theme, CAPE EXTRAVAGANZA, challenges fashion designers from around the 
world to create one breathtaking Fashion Masterpiece inspired by the grandeur and elegance of legendary capes throughout history, from Victorian sophistication and Renaissance royalty to Hollywood glamour and avant-garde modern couture. Each original creation will celebrate craftsmanship, innovation, and artistic expression on one of Southern California's most recognized outdoor runways.

This year's event will also benefit the Venezuela Earthquake Relief Programs, supporting humanitarian assistance, emergency relief, and long-term recovery efforts for communities affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. To maximize the impact of these efforts, we are proudly supporting the fundraising campaign through Global Giving.org helping provide critical aid and long-term assistance to those in need
