When you place an order with us, we request your name, billing address, shipping address, credit card number and expiration date, and email address. We consider this information to be private, and we keep this information on a SSL secure server to protect it from outside parties. SSL is considered the best encryption software in the industry and we do not share your private information with anyone. We use the information only for the limited purposes of processing your orders, administering our site, notifying you of special promotions that may be of interest to you (only if you select to be included on our mailing list). While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our users information, not just the sensitive information, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example shipping your product) are granted access to personally identifiable information. SHIPPING AND HANDLING


All orders will be processed by the next business day. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees as indicated during checkout. All items will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service as specified either First Class Mail, Priority Mail or Next Day Express Service.

SALES TAX


Orders being shipped to addresses within California are charged 9.00% sales tax. Orders being shipped to addresses outside of California are not charged sales tax.

RETURN POLICY


Farmers Market Gift Certificate purchases are non-refundable. Returns or exchanges for Farmers Market merchandise purchased through this website will be accepted within 30 days of purchase date. Shipping and handling fees will not be refunded. All returns or exchanges should be mailed or delivered in person to the Farmers Market Office, 6333 W. Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90036. 1-866-993-9211 (toll free) or 323-933-9211.

        All returns must be accompanied with a receipt or original packing slip, specific exchange or refund instructions, and be sure to include a daytime telephone number and email address where we may contact you. The Farmers Market is not responsible for any damage that occurs when return shipping so we encourage all returns be insured for the full value.

       If a replacement merchandise item is being shipped to you, additional shipping charges may apply if a rush mailing service is requested. If rush return mailing service is requested, our customer service representatives will contact you to approve any additional charges before billing your credit card. Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California  privacy rights.  

Agent: You may designate an agent to submit privacy requests on your behalf. For your  protection, we may need to verify your identity directly with you before fulfilling certain  requests. We need your agent’s contact information, and your agent needs to have your  verification information ready when submitting the privacy request.
